PUBLIC NOTICE 23258 MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES NOTICE OF REGULATORY IMPACT REPORT AND DRAFT RULE TEXT AVAILABILITY JEFFERSON CITY, MO -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is considering amending state regulations to reflect federal regulations regarding hazardous waste management. Regulatory Impact Reports providing information and the draft rule texts are available in the Rules In Development section at  https://apps5.mo.gov/proposed-rules/welcome.action#OPEN. Anyone wishing to provide comments on the preliminary rule actions can provide online comments via the above web site, email comments to swmprules@dnr.mo.gov or written comments to Rules Unit, Operations Section, Waste Management Program, P.O. Box 176, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0176. The department will accept comments until 5 p.m. July 8, 2024. Prior to filing the proposed rulemakings with the Secretary of State’s Office, comments and responses on this preliminary action will be posted on the same web site. The department’s Waste Management Program has authority to promulgate rules under 643.050, RSMo.
