Ameren's Shoreline Management Office back to full-service hours

If you’ve had problems gaining access to the Ameren Shoreline Management office on Willmore Lane in Lake Ozark the last couple of years, your luck has changed.
Ameren officials announced that new office hours at the facility at 3 Willmore Lane began this week. The office will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
These expanded hours will give customers more access to the Shoreline team should they need help navigating the permitting process. While Shoreline Management staff can assist with a variety of issues related to the permitting process, permit applications will still need to be submitted by the customer.
It’s recommended that customers with specific needs or questions call ahead and make an appointment to ensure a smoother experience.

According to an Ameren spokesman, the shoreline office was not accepting in-person visits during the height of COVID, but continued to respond to permitting questions via phone and email throughout. The office was never closed, just unavailable for in-person visits. Those resumed on an appointment basis more than a year ago.
The Ameren official said the office returned to scheduled, in-person hours two days a week in July 2023 and expanded to five days a week Oct. 2. The implementation of the online permitting system for making it much easier for customers to navigate the permitting process.
 The new office hours are the latest of several recent customer service improvements including implementation of a new online permitting system, making it easier for Realtors, dock builders and homeowners to do business at the Lake.
