These awards celebrate and recognize what the Best the Lake of the Ozarks has to offer.
Nominations and votes for nominees will be accepted at https://www.lakenewsonline.com/lakelifestyles-best-of/index.html between Jan. 22-Feb. 5 as the first part of the competition. The top five nominated and voted for in each category will advance to the final voting round. Final voting round starts Feb. 19. Those business that make it through the nomination process will also be featured on a Best of the Lake Guru website. More information on the Guru website will be available as the contest progresses.
Those voting will be eligble for one of nine random giveaways, three year Lake Lifestyles magazine subscriptions, a year Lake Sun subscription or five gift cards to Lake-area restaurants.
The final round of voting takes place from Feb. 19-March 4. Once the survey closes, the top two in each category will be contacted.
First- and second-place winners will be listed in the May/June issue of Lake Lifestyles magazine. This year's contest is sponsored by Slumberland.
