A unique blend of watersports and faith-based mentorship will take center stage this summer at Kirby’s School of Wake, where campers aged 8 to 18 are invited to “AWAKIN” their passion, purpose, and potential during a three-day day camp from June 2 to 4.
Held at 4773 Osage Beach Parkway, the AWAKIN Camp offers young wakeboarders and wakesurfers a chance to sharpen their skills with five wakeboard or wakesurf sessions and one trampoline session, all while exploring deeper life lessons through group messages and evening guest speakers.
The camp is all about helping young athletes grow — not just in their sport, but also in their confidence and faith.
Open to all skill levels, campers are placed into ride groups according to ability, ensuring a supportive environment for progression. In addition to time on the water, participants will take part in team challenges, service activities and daily lunch is provided.
Evening guest speakers will deliver inspirational messages, with families and friends encouraged to attend these special gatherings.
Campers are urged to bring their own equipment but gear can be provided upon request.
The camp runs daily from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served.
