Track and field athletes from Camdenton and School of the Osage competed at the Class 4 State Championships from May 24-25 at Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City.
History was made for both track and field programs over the weekend. On Friday, Camdenton sophomore Ty Wiethop became the Class 4 State Champion in the boys long jump (6.96 meters, 22-10.00 feet), the first state champion long jumper in program history.
Osage junior Landon Childs also captured the Class 4 State Championship in the boys pole vault (4.73 meters, 15-06.25 feet)...
