After two days of postponements, the 95th Annual Eldon Invitational Tournament got underway with four games Wednesday, Jan. 28.
In the first contest of the evening, top seed Smith-Cotton ran away from No. 8 seed Versailles 79-45.
For Smith-Cotton, Mike Stasyuk led the team in scoring with 15 points. Brayden Albrecht paced Versailles with 13 points.
Game two saw Boonville get past Fatima 55-38.
Brayden Viertel led the Pirates with 13 points. Blake Kiethermes led all scorers in the game with 22 for the Comets.
Osage rallied in the second half to defeat Camdenton 66-55.
Blake Harrison scored 23 points for the Indians while Alan Paoge led the way with 32 points for the Lakers.
In the final game of the evening, Eugene took down Eldon 79-41.
Ethan Wunderlich led four Eagles in double figures with 19 points.
Britton Ahart scored 20 for the Mustangs.
Thursday night's schedule is as follows:
