With summer now in full swing, Ozarks International Raceway in Gravois Mills is kicking off four straight weekends of racing from June 27-29 through July 18-20.
This weekend, June 27-29, KART Racing USA will showcase kart races Saturday and Sunday with tandem drafting as the karts will be going wide open for nearly 80-percent of the 3.9 miles of the Ozarks International Raceway track.
For the Fourth of July weekend, July 5-6, Ozarks International Raceway is hosting the Mustang Cup Series Race, an entry-level racing platform started in the spring of 2025, which bridges the gap between Ford Performance Driving Experiences and the Mustang Challenge.
The Mustang Cup offers a professionally organized, club-level racing environment for novice and hobby racers to develop the fundamentals of organized racing on private USAC operated race weekends, alongside other USAC series and events. This new series acts as a starting point in the Ford Performance sports car racing pyramid for novice racers.
Along with the Mustang Cup series race, Heartland Vintage Racing will be on-hand racing their vintage cars. Based out of Kansas City and St. Louis, they have members from all over the Midwest. Their members own and race everything from Elvas, Shelbys, classic open-wheel formula cars, full-fender historic Trans-Am cars and everything in between.
July 12-13 will see one of the most popular racing series in North America with the Sports Car Club of America Midiv Ozarks Summer Lake Fest Majors, featuring different classes of time trials and racing.
Lastly to close out the next month of racing is the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) MidAmerica from Friday to Sunday, July 18-20. The weekend will include High Performance Driver Education (HPDE), time trials, and competition school.
