Panther Creek hosts hog roast, music festival

Panther Creek campground on Humphrey Creek Road outside Tuscumbia, will host a hog roast and music festival Saturday, May 31.

The event will feature pulled pork dinners, food vendors, camping and pony rides and a bounce house for children.

Pre-purchased tickets online for the gate and plate are on sale for $10 each until May 25. Each ticket is good for one entry and one pulled pork dinner plate.

Tent only camping is $20 per night and attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

Gates open at 2 p.m. with open mic from 2 to 5 p.m. Music by Whiskey Blend and Live Oak Revelry begins at 5 p.m.

Tickets purchased at time of entry are $10 for gate entry and $8 for a pulled pork dinner plate.

No firearms or weapons are allowed on the premises and no dogs allowed except for service animals.
