Posted

School of the Osage High School will present The Sound of Music Nov. 20–22 at 7 p.m. in the School of the Osage High School auditorium.

A tuneful and heartwarming classic, the production is based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family Singers, one of the world’s best-known concert groups in the years leading up to World War II. The story follows Maria, a lively postulant at an Austrian abbey who becomes governess to the seven children of a widowed naval captain. Through her love of life and music, she transforms the household and rekindles the family’s joy.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, with a $1 service fee applied. They may be purchased online at osageschools.booktix.com or at the door.
