27 • Movies at the Park is a brand new, family-friendly event at Osage Beach City Park this summer presented by Osage Beach Parks and Recreation. This night’s movie is The Goonies and begins at 8:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a free flick under the stars on select Fridays in May, June and July. The park is located at 950 Hatchery Road in Osage Beach.

28-29 • The Lake of the Ozarks Amateur Radio Club (LOARC) is participating in the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day from noon June 28 to noon June 29 at the Camdenton Conservation Service Center, 783 Thunder Mountain Road. Field day is open to the public and showcases the skills and emergency preparedness of amateur radio operators and to demonstrate amateur radio’s capabilities in simulated emergency situations. It’s a chance for operators to connect with others, practice operating from portable locations, and demonstrate the art, science and enjoyment of amateur radio.

27 • The Kiwanis Duck Drop Golf Tournament will be held at Bear Creek Valley Golf Club with registration at 7:30 a.m. and tee-off at 8:30 a.m. Cost to play is $200.
28 • Adults only Prom Night, 5 p.m., Lodge of the Four Seasons. First annual fundraiser for the silent survivors of domestic violence and those lost. Hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, dancing, celebration of life. Proceeds support local shelters, outreach services and community scholarships. Cost is $50 per person or $85 per couple.
